1887, July 1 - First railway appointment in Tasmania

1889, Aug 10 - Porter in Charge at Glenora Station (then Terminus of the Derwent Valley Line)

1892, March 28 - Promoted to Stationmaster at Macquarie Plains

c.1917 - Appointed Stationmaster at Evandale

1922 - Retired after being Stationmaster at Evandale for 5 years. Moved to NSW.
