Built: Passenger carriage built in 1945 by Waddingtons, NSW. Steel body and frame.

Type: Bogie Passenger Railmotor Trailer / Bogie Passenger / Gaurds Carriage.

History: Built for Tasmanian Government Railways (TGR) as DT1.

Purchased by Emu Bay Railway (EBR) in 1961 and converted to carriage/gaurds van ABL2. Conversion included heavy duty bogies and change over from air braking to vacuum braking.

Sold to Tas Rail Tours in 1984 and purchased by Tasmanian Locomotive Company P/L in 1986.

Purchased by Derwent Valley Railway Preservation Society (DVRPS) in 1992
